The parish of St. James is located in the County of Cornwall in the southwest end Jamaica and bisected by the Nassau Mountain range. The capital of St. James is Montego Bay, affectionately known as “Mo Bay” by both tourists and local residents. St James is named after the Duke of York who was also known as James II. St. James is commonly known as the second city largest city in Jamaica. St. James is popular as an export point for lard taken from wild hogs in the forests of Jamaica. St. James is becoming one of the fastest growing parishes on the island of Jamaica. The development of Montego Bay is the growth driver of this parish because it has become an alternative to the overpopulated parish of Kingston. Tourism has developed into the main source of employment for residents of this parish; one in four residents are employed in the tourist industry. Located in Montego Bay is the 18 hole Championship Golf Course “The Cinnamon Hill Golf Club,” one of the top 10 Resorts and Spas on the Island of Jamaica it is set upon a one-time sugar plantation and is one of Jamaica’s proudest historical sites.

White Witch is also part of the historic, 5000-acre Rose Hall Plantation, one of the most scenic parts of the Island of Jamaica. On 16 of the 18 holes of this course you will be awed by the stunning panoramic View of the Caribbean Sea.
